golang-google-grpc-dev software package provides implementation of gRPC in Go, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-google-grpc-dev
golang-google-grpc-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-google-grpc-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-google-grpc-dev *
You will get with golang-google-grpc-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
